fantastic food with plenty of options, but short shower time was frustrating.

I enjoyed a cozy night in a Superior Cottage with a private sauna. Fine views of Saana fell greeted me in the morning. The comfortable bed and modern kitchen. Plus, being able to see the northern lights from the balcony was a real treat! 🌌

The cozy accommodation offered stunning views of the surrounding wilderness, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers. The Hungarian beef stew served in the restaurant was a highlight, providing hearty comfort after days of hiking in the crisp air. However, the limited restaurant menu felt restrictive, and I noticed that extra charges for bed sheets were unexpected. Furthermore, the decor and furniture appeared to be slightly dated, impacting the overall ambiance of relaxation.

the apartment I stayed in was spacious, warm, and quiet, offering a lovely environment for weekend explorations. It was just a short walk of less than 20 minutes to breathtaking sights like Tsahkal Falls and the scenic Lake Kilpisjarvi.

Not exactly what I expected

Location was perfect, with stunning views of Holy mountain Saana on one side and beautiful Kilpisjärvi lake on the other! ! Hiking opportunities were fantastic.

Walls were paper-thin, making noise from neighboring accommodations a frequent disturbance.

Our chalet was positively luxurious, complete with a private sauna! The restaurant served surprisingly upscale food. that steak was pure heaven. I only wish I could stay longer to enjoy more of it!

The online check-in was a breeze, but the room lacked, erm, window curtains! After a long day, I didn't want to feel like I was auditioning for a horror movie.

I stayed in the Standard Cottage with Sauna for 2 nights, and it was super cozy. The power shower was a lifesaver in the freezing temps, and I loved having all the modern amenities like the electric drying cupboard. The sauna was just the cherry on top! The location was great too, nestled between the village and the lake, with a stunning view of the Northern Lights one night. Just a bit let down that it was quite small for what I expected, but it didn't ruin my stay.

tundrea holiday resort is a cozy spot with a traditional log cottage equipped with a sauna. being located between the village and the lake adds to its charm, especially after witnessing the northern lights over our cottage one night. the mod cons like an electric drying cupboard were a great touch!

Cozy cabin, friendly staff, great food, the beautiful view of the surrounding landscapes ensured a pleasant stay, while the close proximity to the ski trails and hiking routes made exploring the area incredibly convenient.
